Purpose of 3-phase single-phase alternator conversion
If there is only a load, it is single-phase and cannot be equally divided into three phases. You can reconnect a three-phase alternator with only a single-phase output and you don't have to worry about load balancing across three separate phases.
Most large capacity Mecc Alte alternators are three-phase. Today TTTT will take an example of converting a 3-phase MECC ALTE 150kVA, 12 wires into a single-phase alternator. It is very rare to convert generators with this capacity. Due to the needs of our customers, you must read the instructions carefully to practice correctly.
MECC ALTE single phase alternator
When converting three-phase to single-phase TTTT, the voltage of the single-phase alternator is 230V, the frequency and speed remain the same, only the power is reduced, not kept the same. Therefore, to determine the most accurate power after conversion, refer to the document "Power Table" of MECC ALTE, and pay attention to the power factor table when inquiring.
